An interactive English language club
for children in Weesp.
Play, Discover, Grow
At the English Explorers Club, our English programme uses a play-based approach to make language learning fun and natural. Every session uses stories and games to help children pick up new vocabulary and start speaking with ease.
Designed for small groups, our format welcomes all levels - whether your child is taking their very first steps into English or already uses a mix of languages at home.
English Explorers Club
Inside Our Weekly Sessions
Fully immersed in English from the moment they arrive, children follow a carefully crafted programme where each weekly theme turns active play into real language skills.
Every session is built around:
Active Storytelling
Storytime is never just sitting and listening. Through music, movement, and roleplay, kids act out the story so new words click right away.
Immersive Games
High-energy group challenges and playful games keep everyone laughing, moving, and picking up fresh vocabulary without it ever feeling like a lesson.
Creative Play
From mini-cafés to treasure hunts, we use imaginative setups that give children a relaxed, natural space to speak English together.
Questions? We’ve Got Answers
-
Not at all! The English Explorers Club is designed for all levels. Because we use stories, active games, and visual play, children pick up the meaning of words naturally through context - exactly how they learned their first language.
-
Our interactive sessions are designed for two groups: Little Explorers for Groep 1–3 (ages 4–6) and Explorers Academy for Groep 4–7 (ages 7–10).
We know that children learn best through social connection. Our small-group format ensures they aren't just absorbing sounds passively, but are actively communicating and playing together, at a level suited to their developmental stage.
Based on demand, we hope to open new classes - drop your name on our waitlist to let us know what you need! -
To enrol your child, simply fill out the form on our Book a Spot page to request a place. We’ll email you to confirm, along with a secure payment link to lock in your spot for the term.
When a term is wrapping up, we'll email you a simple link so you can easily sign up for the next block if your child wants to keep playing and learning English with us. -
Groups are kept intentionally small. This allows us to give every child plenty of individual attention and keep them fully engaged in every game and story.
Once a group is full, we open a waiting list for any upcoming spaces. -
Sessions take place weekly at De Buurtkamer (Fort Diemerdamstraat 71A, Weespersluis).
Current Wednesday Schedule:
Little Explorers (Groep 1–3): 15:00 – 15:45
Explorers Academy (Groep 4–7): 16:00 – 17:00
Coming Soon (Starting November 5): Thursday afternoon classes will also be available at the same times!
Need a different day or time? Drop your name on our waitlist.

Because our sessions run for a full 60 minutes, we don't have a snack break during class. Feel free to feed your child right before they arrive so they are fueled up and ready to play!
Occasionally, if we are exploring a special food-related theme, we might taste something together - we'll check in with you about any allergies after you register. -
Our sessions are drop-off. We find that children immerse themselves much more confidently in the language and the games when they are interacting independently with their peers. However, if your child is nervous during their very first session, you are more than welcome to stay for the first 10 minutes to help them settle in comfortably!
-
Yes, of course! While our sessions are fully run in English, I understand and speak enough Dutch to make sure every child feels completely safe, secure, and looked after. If a little one gets stuck or needs comfort, I can absolutely communicate with them in Dutch so they never feel lost.
